My dear friend Lorie and her beautiful red-headed babies came in from Arkansas a couple of weeks ago and we were their first and almost last stop during their spring break to visit family and friends. :) Fitting everyone to sleep in my teeny one bedroom garage apartment ended up not being as bad as I thought. Even though the girls didn't go to sleep until almost 1am. Who knew a little girl's bedroom could be so scary? Haha.

I, of course, just HAD to get these cuties in front of my camera before they left. We had so much fun with bubbles and a rusty old shopping cart. I can't wait to see them again (hopefully with Dad) this summer!

Thank you Lorie for visiting and playing along. I miss you already and I'll just be here hoping you move back soon or at least visit more often. Two years without hugging your neck is way too long! Love you bunches!

I totally underestimated the sheer dirtiness of this old shopping cart but boys are supposed to have dirt all over their face right? I think so!

Lorie has the best laugh ever!

Poor Lorie! Elizabeth and Mark just kept running in circles and jumping off their mom's behind. Cute, funny and sad all at the same time. :)

and, of course Brynnan had to get in one with her friend. Beautiful girls. ♥

Lola is One! Along with her sweet parents, we met at my outdoor studio Saturday morning for a mini session. Mini sessions are great for this age and my backyard is the perfect little secluded location for little ones. I just love this sweet, expressive baby girl. And that red hair... swoon.

Thank you Jenn and Pete for coming to my home and allowing me to capture this sweet time in Lola's life. I look forward to watching Lola and your family grow. I know the birthday party will be a hit and I will be thinking about y'all this weekend. Pete, I hope your knee heals well and you get back on your feet soon. :)

This is what we got in 30 minutes, minus a few. Yes, three outfit and "scenery" changes and even though I say fifteen images, I can never narrow it down. xoxo

This past weekend we had a booth at the 3rd Annual Funky Finds Spring Fling and it was an amazing experience. We made tons of new friends and met some fabulous people. More on all of that later.

For now, I will share with you some images I shot for Jehanne B Boutique. She has some of the most wonderful little vintage and retro inspired clothes and hair accessories for girls. We had about 5 minutes left of sweet light after the show Saturday so we drove over to a little abandoned house down the street from my mom. I can't wait to photograph the rest of her line very soon!

I really, REALLY wanted to share these because this sweet couple is at the hospital right now HOPEFULLY having a baby girl. We battled a few things this day. Rain, traffic, train wrecks and a momma who was dangerously close to giving birth. But, we were all giggles, especially Amy, and we pulled through, made the most of it and really had a great time. Yes, I said a train wreck! It was pretty gnarly... passenger train hit a truck carrying a substance and the driver of the the truck apparently thought he could beat it. Nice try though. At least no one got hurt. It made for quite a scene right across the street from where we shot. You won't get to see any of that yet. Friday sounds good for train wrecks and no smoking signs. Get ready!

I totally enjoyed the time I spent with Amy and Randy. They made me laugh... a lot. Scarlett is one lucky little girl already and I won't be surprised if she comes out giggling.

Thank y'all so much for traipsing through the rain and mud, getting up and down, running, jumping and making my "job" just that more enjoyable! I can't wait to meet Scarlett. Soon! xo

Oh, these boys! I love how different their personalities are. One is a silly, typical 5 year old full of energy and life and one is a sweet, guarded 3 year old not really sure what to think of all the crazy things his brother is doing. They made me giggle and swoon and I'm so glad to know them.

This is just a small sneak peek. One outfit, one location and no individuals. They are my faves though so they get their own post.

I came down with some kind of bronchitis/flu thing when this sweet little one graced us with her presence so I didn't get out to see her as soon as I would have hoped but it really didn't matter because Momma said she is just a very alert little thing. So, I didn't get any real sleeping, squishy shots but she is still one of the oh so sweetest teeny little things ever.

Congrats Kellie & Marc, enjoy your new baby girl!
